I am traveling to Tanzania for nine weeks, and volunteering at a school in the village of Eluwai, near Arusha. I will be helping teach English, and leading afterschool programs teaching photography and fine arts. The organization I am teaming up with, Aang Serian, aims to preserve indigenous customs and traditions among the Maasai people in the area. I am trying to bring as much film, art supplies, and materials to teach the staff first aid. The more I can bring, the better, but I also have to pay travel expenses, room, board, and a volunteer fee. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
